This is a project that talks about the acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community in India. How the belief system in the society needs to change and it will take time. But the first step should be being accepted by the family as they are the support system which would give the strength to face the society. The zine consists of poems that are directly addressed to family members, in a way to communicate with them and make them understand and accept what their children are. The GIF is a supporting media that talks about the change that should take place in the mindset of this society.

The GIF made for the project is a message. A message for people to stop the hate and rethink and accept people from the LGBTQ+ community

The references for the digital visuals used in the zine were sourced from google. But the artworks were created digitally on Photoshop. The poems are original content. The poems talk about how people from the LGBTQ+ community should first be accepted by their own family as they form the backbone for support to face the cruel society.

This is an original digital artwork made for the zine. The name incognito describes how the lives of LGBTQ+ people is hidden from the society but there is somebody that always knows. First is themselves. Their lives, their fight to be loved, recognized and accepted.
